Webster County Community Hospital

I went in on July 19th because of new medication side effect. While lying there I had to listen to one nurse bash other staff to a new nurse practitioner. I feel like I wasnt taken seriously by any means. I ended up admitted to the hospital the next day in hastings for five days. When I left the same nurse said to me I dont want to see you back here for a while. Have nurses become complacent with how they are supposed to treat patients with dignity and respect. It was a gross representation of your facility. I do not feel comfortable ever coming back to your hospital. I certainly did get a large bill for all the disrespect I endured during my visit.

We have taken children and the elderly to the ER at WCCH a number of times. They have always treated us with respect, compassion, and quality care. Our visits have usually been to the ER, after hours. The ER doctors on call always arrived very quickly and have given competent care. Often the ER visit involved X-ray. Again, the X-ray tech arrived relatively quickly. Everyone explained things to us and kept us informed, while we were waiting. Several times we were sent on to a bigger hospital, for specialized care (surgeries) etc. Red Cloud can be very proud of their hospital facility, and the competent, caring staff. I have received physical therapy at WCCH on two different occasions. Once dealing with hip and back pain, and once after hand surgery in an attempt to regain strength

I love the staff. I’ve seen nurse practitioners only. Tyler seems to be the one I see. I don’t have any complaints. I even stayed a night. A small hospital setting suits me just fine.
