Wayne Animal Hospital

We absolutely love Wayne Animal Hospital. I have been taking my dogs there since I was a kid and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They treat us and our dogs like family. Rain adores Dr. Hoskin (she hasn’t had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Stetler yet) and Duke loves both Dr. Hoskin and Dr. Stetler. The whole staff is amazing, professional, compassionate, and phenomenal at what they do. Rain wants to give a special shout out thanking the staff for fulfilling her dream of being a receptionist and greeting everyone 🤗

Our fur babies, Lil Tony (who is special needs and has multiple disabilities) and Garfield have been seeing Dr. Hoskin for years — and when she moved to Wayne, we followed, because there’s no other vet we trust more than her. Her kind, compassionate care truly shines, along with her incredible knowledge of veterinary medicine. She always takes the time to listen, explain everything thoroughly, and treat each of our pets as if they were her own. We are so grateful for her dedication, patience, and genuine love for animals. We couldn’t imagine entrusting our fur babies to anyone else!

We brought our new frenchie puppy in today for his first vet visit and he had a GREAT time! As soon as we walked in, every person at the front desk was in awe at him- kissing him, hugging him, baby voices! He was so excited. The vet was extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions (we had an entire list!) - very gentle with him, kept telling him how cute he was, gave treats after each procedure to make sure he didn’t associate the vet with negativity. They even went to the back and brought out a HUGE stuffed animal for him to take home - it was bigger than him! Thank you again for treating our boy with such love. We will be back soon for more shots and we can’t wait!

I’ve been bringing my German Shepherds to Dr. Shea at Wayne Animal Hospital for years, and I can’t say enough good things about her and the staff. This past weekend my dog, Bruce, needed stitches. On Friday night I went to an emergency hospital in Paramus, where I was quoted $2,300 for treatment. The next morning, Dr. Shea saw us right away. She carefully cleaned and debrided his wound and was able to close it with two staples — at just a fraction of the cost. What really stood out is how much they truly care about the animals. They even followed up with me on Monday to check on Bruce. Their compassion, skill, and fair pricing set them apart. I highly recommend Dr. Shea and Wayne Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a trustworthy veterinarian.

Dr Hoskin is the best vet I’ve ever had treat my pets. She’s dedicated, kind, honest, and tries her hardest to make them feel their best. I moved and travel over an hour one way to still bring her my dog. I don’t trust anyone else with him. 10/10 recommend.
