My mother was a short term/therapy resident at Waterside Health and Rehab Center last month after a short hospitalization. I was impressed with the kindness and dignity the staff showed her as she has mild Dementia and this was the first time she had ever been in a facility and away from her home. They ensured she was safe and comfortable at all times. Every time I visited or called her (which were different hours of the day), she was always in good spirits, clean, had snacks available and most important, happy. My mother was a fall risk due to her overall diagnosis and ambulatory status. The nursing staff were diligent in monitoring her closely, assisting her to the restroom often, and ensuring her overall care was provided in a loving and caring manner. I have visited different facilities in this area, visiting friends, loved ones and doing service events with my sorority sisters and I can say this facility is one of the nicest. It is clean, the staff is caring, they speak to you when you walk down the halls and they interact with the residents. If I had to recommend a place for your loved one, weather it is for rehab, long term care or respiratory, I would not hesitate to tell you to take them here.

I’ve been to Waterside multiple times, and it is always extremely clean and well maintained. The staff is consistently welcoming, kind, and professional, which makes the environment feel comfortable and positive. I especially loved how the Admissions Director greeted me so warm, friendly, and attentive. You can truly tell that this facility values both its patients and visitors.

Staff members are all friendly and accommodating, especially important over the Holidays. My elderly mother with limited mobility and diminished mental capacity is being accommodated with great care. The facility is clean and mom’s room is comfortable. Thank you for helping to ease our stress!

I work in Home health as Chaplain and frequently visit various facilities to offer support. Waterside Health and Rehab has shown major improvement. The staff were welcoming and greeted me as I traveled through the building. The facility had a nice clean environment. The Social Services Director, Khadijah, always takes the time to acknowledge my visit and discuss current or upcoming discharge needs to ensure families are aware of available services.
