Watauga Dental Center

I have several children and they all go here. They are absolutely amazing. They have worked with me so much. We had had an issue with our insurance since the beginning of the year. It had changed. We have TennCare and it changed to Renaissance dental. One of my kids had had a cleaning and I was going to have to pay out of pocket for one extra tooth to have the medicine they put on to prevent cavities from getting larger. And instead of doing that. Charlotte, the office manager told me that I wasn't going to have to pay out of pocket for one tooth. They would rather take care of my child's teeth then make me pay for one tooth because my insurance would not cover it. I can't express enough how much that meant to me. One of the worst dental office ever. Staff is the rudest, most unprofessional staff I’ve ever come in contact with. The office was filthy. The weight is forever and all staff is extremely rude and you will not see a doctor.

This place has GOT to be shut down. The last 2 times I went, I told them my teeth were hurting, both times they told me they’ll check it next time. They also said i had no cavities and i DEFINITELY did. This place is so unprofessional, they only take about 5 mins to clean your teeth and they’re done. They have no idea what they’re doing, i’m convinced they hire ppl off the streets. Do NOT come here.

I had called to reschedule my children’s appointment due to the flu and I dealt with an extremely hateful lady, she even threatened to discharge my children. I have only ever rescheduled 2 times in 3 years! I’m not sure if it was a worker or the owner but if I could find a new dentist for my children I would just leave & never return! If you do not like dealing with people that have children then do not work the phones! Kids get sick and no one can control that! They need to be more understanding!

The Dentist and staff we saw today were amazing! They were friendly got us in pretty quick. They explained everything thoroughly, even checked on us within the 10 min we were in the back waiting to be seen.
