Washington Urgent Care

I'm giving one star due to the LACK OF HUMANITY of the staff at the front desk. I went to the urgent care with an abscess ready to pop, I barely could walk, it was clear that I was feeling a lot of pain. After waiting 30 min and see people that got there after me being called before me, I went to the front desk to ask if there was something wrong. I was really polite and patient. The receptionist answered me in a super rude way that people with an appointment would have priority and I'll have to wait at least one more hour. How can someone know when they are going to have an emergency? I NEVER ever heard of scheduling appointments for an urgent care. We went in on the past Saturday night around 6:20. The reception staff was very friendly and professional to help my wife to check in. The nurse was friendly and assuring too. The doctor did the proper test and explained to my wife the result and gave us instructions and suggestions what to do next if my illness does not get better in a few days.

This place is ridiculous, went to this urgent care and waited almost 3 hours to get nurse practitioner to talk and examine, they collected urine samples twice for getting culture and other tests done, gave antibiotics and sent home. Next day they call back and say could not run the urine tests as it was left in tube, the caller says please visit one more time and we collect samples without cost . They got to learn to be professionals and respect patients time and energy. This is the worst experience ever had. Don’t recommend this place to anyone

Good: My toddler had Nursemaid's elbow and doctor was able to reduce it in couple of mins. Bad: - Poor process - Untrained staff. The nurse assisting us didn't even know what baby gripe water is. She didn't know how to take underarm temperature. - Extremely slow. They do not understand what emergency care means. Preparation for regular doctor would be much faster than emergency care here. - Online wait times said 20-30 mins, but waited for about 2 hours and my daughter in great pain throughout

WHHS is a butcher shop. Do NOT go there. They will rip you off with 5 to 6 times the charges on your bill. They have contractors in every department. Specially all the urgent care/emergency staff is on contract. They tell you that we take your insurance, but that contracting company doesn't and they won't tell you that. Later you will receive tons of bills with outrageous cost. They charged $300 to me for a receiving nurse who saw me for 2 mins, took my blood pressure and weight. That was a contract nurse, and they didn't accept my insurance. I had to pay all that money from out of my pocket. You do not have any way of communicating, or reviewing or filling complain with them.
