Washington Regional Medical Center

Just moved here in October 2025 my other half needed treatment he has liver disease he should have been transferred to Greenville , NC hospital. Instead they just send him home say he's good I know he's not he's been weak for days and very light headed and bloated . Its like they don't care and rushed him out of the hospital. They can't even explain what was wrong with him . He needed the right care if you can't help don't go there . If your about to die they don't care .

I had food poisoning and had been throwing up for over 12 hours straight, and the doctor did not seem to care about my concerns of dehydration or my pain at all. I mentioned that I would like an IV and his response was that I am young and he does not see me being dehydrated. I asked for a water because I am dehydrated and they had refused to give one to me until I’ve been seen by the doctor. After I was seen by the doctor, I had mentioned water again and it was after an hour that I had to walk up to the nurses station and ask for a water. When I walked up for the water, the nurse looked totally surprised and said oh are you ready to be discharged. They did no test on me. Nothing for my pain, and gave me Zofran for nausea medicine. They were also loudly discussing several recent situations

Goodnight! I love you bunches and bunches too! 💕 (You wouldn’t believe how much noise they make at that nurses station!! Talking and laughing so loud)!! I like to hear talking as I go off to sleep but this is unbelievably loud for a hospital. I won’t say a word though. They never had me put a gown on. Just slept in my clothes. Night shift was not very good. Day is better.

I will start off by saying when you first walk into the front lobby there was a young girl there who checked us in she had short dark hair I wish I would’ve gotten her name but I didn’t ..she was very offset and very rude to not only to my daughter but others that were checking in at that time it was horrible watching her deal with people she was very rude ! She was not friendly whatsoever. She did not answer our questions It was really uncomfortable and it put a bad taste in my mouth about how the rest of the visit would be. That’s how difficult the situation was dealing with this young lady, because the rest of the visit was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! On May 15, 2022 my husband took me to Washington Regional Medical Center ER because I was having a heart attack. My husband went to the door and stated he needed assistance to get me out of the car. They quickly responded with a wheelchair. Before taking me out of the car they began talking to me to calm me down. The nurses took me straight in the ER and began working on me. Within a matter of minutes they confirmed my worst fear, that I was having a heart attack at that moment. One nurse went out to speak with my family while the others continued to work on me. They administered the clot buster and broke up the clot that was in the artery to my heart. In less then an hour they had me air lifted to Greenville.
