My husband and I recently met with Dr. Zachary Levine to review MRI results showing a large arachnoid cyst. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and left us feeling dismissed and uncomfortable during what is already a stressful situation. From the start of the appointment, the physician appeared disengaged and had a smirk on his face throughout much of the conversation, which felt inappropriate given the seriousness of the discussion. When I asked clarifying questions to better understand my husband’s condition and options, he told me, “I feel like you’re browbeating me.” I immediately clarified that this was not my intent and that we were simply trying to understand the diagnosis and next steps. My Neurologist referred me to Dr. Zackary Levine to discuss focused ultrasound for my hand tremors...I was seen almost immediately with no problems from staff...Dr. Levine described the procedure in detail as I had no knowledge of the treatment... although he showed me a video of a patient who had undergone the treatment with amazing results, Dr. Levine also described possible side effects...I appreciated Dr. Levine's willingness to answer questions and the time he spent helping me understand focused ultrasound.

I went with a family member today, thinking this place could help with spine issues as the office name is spine and brain. The doctor we saw in Vienna Va was the rudest most uncaring Doctor I have ever met in my life. Literally telling us we smelled of cigarette smoke. And to calm down. Rude. He had zero empathy for some one clearly in severe pain. He addressed nothing of my relative's spinal issues. He said he mostly did brain surgeries. Ok then take spine off your office signage. He could have shown empathy and kindness you know that old thing called bedside manners. He could have still given a thought or two. He could have Apologized that he was the wrong doctor and yes he did refer to a spine specialist but he literally told her she smelled of cigarette smoke and implied she was overre

I went to see Dr Rhee in his Frederick Md office who was highly recommended. My appointment was at 11:30 & I was running 5 min late. I got a call from them at 11:28 asking where I was. I was not told to come in early. Anyway, I had trouble finding the place. Their address says Thomas Johnson Drive, but you CANNOT get to their office from Thomas Johnson Drive. My GPS was very confused too. So, unfortunately I did arrive 15 min before their lunch break. I even called the office to ask where they are, but I got the answering service. The receptionist was very nice & understanding. He told me I may have to wait a bit & I was that's ok. I got in very quickly though. Dr. Rhee did a discectomy surgery for my herniated C 6/7. My extremely painful symptoms ceased immediately. I regained use of my arm quickly. The small incision healed very well. He was engaged with me as a patient and focused on my issues. I could not have asked for a better surgeon and treatment. Plus he helped resolve a last minute insurance hold. I appreciate Dr. Rhee’s professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend him.
