Warren County Veterinary Clinic

I took our dog here on 12/23, she has been regurging 10-15 a day. We met dr. Wright, did X-rays and a very brief ultrasound. Which apparently showed nothing special. She diagnosed our dog (8 years old) with mega esophagus and told me that if I felt it was not going to be manageable she wouldn’t blame me if I came back on Friday to have her euthanized. The next 4 days were a true nightmare. Our dog continued to regurg and the night of Christmas Eve the smell turned absolutely FOUL like sewage. We spent the next 3 days at valley emergency vet. I called back dr. Wright on Friday to let her know where things were at she assured me that in her 25 years she had NEVER seen a dog who had a blockage regurg, only throw up. She doubled down on her feeling that this was a complex issue we couldn’t fix

We were late, granted but said they would fit us in. Waited 2 hours, finally taken back. Was just there, first time for shot and nail clipping. Told front desk just moved and didn't have records. They said fine no problem can bring them in with second dog in afternoon. Once back set up but then vet, female, came in and said she needed the records. We could go home and find or have vet last used to send them. So we went back out, had staff call for records. They received in 20 min, was told they get us back in now. Waited another 1 almost 2 hours. When asked how much longer they told us they didn't know. Waited another half hour then decided to leave. Another lady came in after us and she came out complaining they left her and her pet in back half hour in room and no one had seen her yet.

My 10 year old lab needed dental surgery and I was very anxious about the process as she is an older dog. The procedure was smooth and the doctor called me when the plans changed during the procedure. Everything was explained clearly and he helped me make the best decision for my dog. When I went to pick her up the doctor reviewed everything with me, showed me x-rays, and answered all my questions. I really appreciate how caring the staff was and the outcome was excellent! Highly recommend this practice if you want caring staff and competent doctors 😊

Not even going into details but everyone there should be better educated already gave the health department a whole paragraph so I’m not gonna start here.

Huge shout out to Warren County Veterinary Clinic for being so amazing with my dogs, and especially my nervous boy, Archie. 💜 Made taking my nervous boy-o to his doggie dental appointment nice and easy, with laughs and one chill pupper.
