Dr Waner is amazing! He is knowledgeable, funny, thorough and my kids love him! We feel truly cared for, Dr Waner went above and beyond for our little emergency and my son was completely relieved and more confident with his contacts. Thank you so much!

Dr Waner gave me the best exam I have ever had a few years ago. However, in trying to get an appointment this year I have been unable to get through, my calls are not returned. I FINALLY got an appointment in September. The day before my appointment they called to say the office would be closed and I needed to reschedule. I live in Chapel Hill but liked Dr Waner enough to make the trip. They rescheduled me for December 6. On December 3 they called to say the office would be closed and I would need to reschedule. I cannot imagine how this can happen. Surely they know when they will be open. And these appointments are made MONTHS in advance. Why do I get a call one or two days before they suddenly realize the office will be closed? The bottom line is that I will not attempt to reschedule.

Dr. Waner is an absolute gem! I have been to three different eye doctors about my eyes, and he is the only one who 1) identified that contacts would not be ideal for me 2) considered my lifestyle 3) considered my budget and 4) taught me how to prevent further issues. Do not be deceived by the fact the practice is inside of Walmart or the crammed feeling of the office. He is just amazing! His staff entertained me and my baby during the wait. Just can’t speak highly enough!!!

Have always felt at ease and very taken care of at Dr. Waners until recently. They don't send you a yearly reminder so I ran out of contact lenses. I called twice to make an appointment but no one answered and no one returned my phone call. So I went in person to make an appointment. When I went for the scheduled appointment I was told I wasn't on the schedule. They did work me in. Dr. Warner changed my contact lense prescription without telling me. Instead of 1 month lenses they were changed to every two weeks. I didn't realize until after I received my contact lenses order. I can't stand the new lenses but now I'm stuck with them. All this left me very disappointed. Now I am trying to get my records send to another doctor. I went in and signed a release and gave them the fax number. It's

I arrived a little bit early and a gracious, sweet lady took me right in. Dr. Waner was such a great guy. He was so professional and he knew I was nervous. He immediately set me at ease. Well worth the drive! Found my forever optometrist!
