Wanda Gumbs

I was looking for a PCP and a friend recommended Dr. Gumbs. I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Gumbs for an annual checkup and prescription refill for hypertension and high cholesterol. The earliest appointment for a new patient is May 2024. That is 7 months from now! That is unacceptable! I found the same to be true when trying to schedule appointments with other doctors in the Emory Healthcare System. I was told Emory Healthcare is the best but I have found it to be the worst! Such a disappointment! You could die waiting to get an appointment! The current system needs a complete overhaul! Do better Emory Healthcare before someone dies if they haven’t already!

Unfortunately, Dr Gumbs is no longer practicing with Emory in Stockbridge. If you ever has a chance to select her as your PCP….do it! She’s engaged and very caring. I’m sorry she’s left the Emory practice, and I’ve been unable to track her down.

Dr. Wanda is a great doctor. She takes time to listen to my concerns and makes proper recommendations for my overall health.

I really liked my primary doctor Wanda Gumms. She’s was very suffient and detail, I’m going to miss her.😊
