Wanaque Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

I have had a phenomenal experience with my grandparents at this nursing home. Always feel warm and welcomed by the staff. My grandparents always tell me how well taken care of they are. There are many activities and recreational events for all the residents to get involved with. I have been very impressed with how well the management has been during COVID times. I know my grandparents are safe and being well taken care of, highly recommend.

Our baby has been cared for with warmth and dedication. Although she can not do anything for herself, and is on a vent, the staff works to keep her stable, and her respiratory care is excellent. Skin care is very thorough and she has had no skin breakdown. Medical crises are handled appropriately. Visitors are welcomed at any time, and administrative staff is available .

My stepson was there , very understaffed and the place is extremely filthy you would think for a pediatric rehabilitation center they would do a better job at maintaining a clean environment. Kids are always unattended and the nurses will give you attitude when you have a concern. My son kept getting sick so we had to leave that facility and transfer him to a much better site. I don’t know how this place is still up and running, they will lose the personal belongings you leave for your loved ones and they will have respiratory equipment dirty, easy for any baby to catch infections. Don’t recommend at all

My baby has been at Wanaque since last September, there's nothing negative to say and no complaint as well. The staff there treat my baby as well as other kids as there own. I'm very pleased with the entire staff,CNA, PT, RT, Nurses, Doctors,OT, ADON and the administrator. They do care for the children and their needs, in fact they go extra mile when it comes to the kids. Staff is always attentive to the needs of those kids. I can honestly say everyone cares and loves the children there. May God Bless you for all that you are doing for those children .😘

All I had to do was walk through the door and speak to the quite unsavory people that worked there, that I knew I would never leave a friend or family member in the care of this facility. Was not clean and a foul odor stung the nostrils as soon as I entered. Also watched the staff not tip a pizza delivery boy then joke about it after he had left. Just a weird environment, not somewhere you or anyone you care about would want to spend any time in.
