Walnut Creek Pediatric Dentistry

We had a wonderful experience at this pediatric dental office. Our 10-year-old son loved it, and we did too. Everything was quick, we were seen right on time, and everyone was very friendly. He got to pick a little prize at the end and even received a balloon, he was so happy! He especially appreciated the screen with cartoons right above his head, which made the whole visit comfortable and kept him distracted during the procedure. We’re very satisfied with our visit. Thank you!

This place is incredible. My daughter had a great exam and cleaning here, but what really stood out was when we had an emergency after hours. Even though the office was closed, they were super helpful over text, referred us to their partner office, and we were seen within an hour. They made the whole process so smooth and even followed up afterward to check on how she was doing.

We had used them for a long time. They are a good practice (hence 2 stars, not 1), but when it came time to deciding our own insurance, I asked and they told me they were in network with Delta Dental. They never said they were in-network but ONLY premier. So when I brought my kids back here for a regular check-up, we were surprised by $350+ out of pocket. Now, they've sent me a follow-on bill for another $174. That's right: with insurance that they told me would be "in network", we're out $500+ out of pocket for a regular cleaning.

We showed up on the wrong day for my daughters appointments. Rather than send us home (as they should have), they could not have been more accommodating. They saw both of my children and we never felt rushed despite it being the end of the day. We have been going here for years and they do great work, but it is the little things that set them apart.

The absolute best office! My 3 year old daughter actually asked to go back to the dentist after her visit. This was her second visit and my nervous kiddo actually sat through a proper cleaning, no tears, felt so proud of herself and super happy at the end (balloon and stickers). Dr. Zahra is the absolute best, so encouraging, knows when to give breaks, and her dental assistant was phenomenal, he made the whole visit very calm and fun, my daughter loved him. Front desk and management are the best!
