Wallowa Memorial Hospital

I took a family member to the emergency room on a Saturday in June. There was no waiting. There were no other cars in the parking lot. We had a room in less than five minutes. In another five, the doctor entered the room fully briefed on the patient history. Every test and procedure that needed to be done was done immediately. The doctors and nurses were kind, compassionate, and extremely competent. All food allergy and pharmaceutical needs were accommodated, the meals chosen from a menu ahead of time. Most of the time, I was able to be in the room. Otherwise, there were plenty of other quiet, comfortable areas to wait. The patient was given every possible care and urged to stay until well enough to leave. If you have to be ill, this is an amazing hospital that will take great care of you

A Heartfelt Thank You to Wallowa Memorial Hospital I am writing this with a heart full of gratitude to express my immense appreciation for the entire staff at Wallowa Memorial Hospital in Enterprise, Oregon, where my son, was born. From the moment I arrived, I felt an incredible sense of welcome and community. The hospital is located in a serene and stunning setting, which perfectly reflects the calm, amazing, and loving nature of the people who work there and the community they serve. As a single father going through the surrogacy process—an experience I imagine is not very common—everyone, including my mother and me, was treated with the utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. Having a solid hospital is easy to take for granted, Wallowa Memorial has been one of the best we've ever had to visit(Compared to Providence and Swedish in Washington) They have modern equipment with that small town kindness and generosity. Everyone I've met from the house keepers and CNAs and up took their jobs seriously. I'd need more than one hand to count the many times they saved my family's health and well being. I will remember the care we received for the rest of my life.

This hospital is a joke and unprofessional!! We arrived in Enterprise for a little mini vacation, we arrived on 9/5/24 we were just unloading our vehicle and my 86 mother fell and hit the curb outside, 911 was called and they took her to this hospital, when my sister and myself went to the hospital to be with her, she was laying on a bed and in so much pain she was shaking, it had been well over two hours and they just put her in a room and walked away, no pain meds what so ever , my Mom broke her hip as well as her shoulder, they left my Mom in that pain for hours , I asked the doctor why my Mom arm was not in a sling, and he said we can do that, but we're short staffed!! That's not our problem, and he never came back in to even do it or give her pain meds , until I blew my cork and deman

5 star rating as I am waiting for my results in imaging!!! Wallowa county continues to provide excellent and timely service as I enter into the stages of health care becoming more and more important🙏🙏🙏😇😇. We are extremely blessed to have this hospital and especially this staff as such an incredible resource today and everyday! I don’t know if people here really understand what gifts we have available to us🥰🥰🥰
