Google maps said Open but when I arrived the sign said New Hours Closed Mondays except by appointment. Staff was there doing administrative work so they invited me in anyway. However they don’t stock shoes like a regular shoe store but measure your feet first for a fee, which can be applied to a purchase. Plus they don’t do returns so that is a little concerning. I was short on time so just tried on a similar sandal of the brand I’d seen advertised that they happened to have my size for and they were comfortable! (Orthofeet) The staff member seemed VERY knowledgeable, experienced and certified. If you have a specialized fit need, especially for diabetes (which I don’t have) definitely give them a try. The business is family and locally owned, not a chain.

I have sleep apnea and driving long distances is dangerous for me. They came to my home, made a foot impression and came back a few weeks later with velcro fastened shoes and an insert that after a one week break in has made my walking experience a pleasure again. I would rate my service as 10 out of ten. They were polite, knowledgeable and I received a pair of shoes that help me walk my dogs more often and do that with much less pain in my knees and hips due to a shoe that is very supportive. I would do business with "Walk rite for life" if I needed special shoes. You will not be disappointed!

We were a walk-in in Mountain View store, as we live in the area. They were able to help us find a shoe for our an 11yo with extra-wide, flat feet, with very large feet. I found them to be patient and knowledgeable. I plan to go back when those are outgrown.

A tip-top experience of knowledge and service that immediately delivered more walking and standing comfort. Comfort is great in itself, but especially for physical therapy, that's so critical to getting better. They talked us out of a more expensive pair we had in mind and gave us a card to stay in touch. We will be recommending them far and wide!

Would give zero stars if possible. I bought two pairs of shoes here in August. The one pair for work is good. The other pair had to be ordered from a different location. They promised they would arrive in less than a month as I needed them for a trip in mid September. They did not arrive in time. Over a month and a half I had waited for these shoes. So I went to return them when they finally arrived and the owner was not there. The worker there was extremely rude. Stated he can’t do returns and that I should have called before driving down. Terrible business that makes promises that they can’t deliver. They should not be rude to customers when they have failed to deliver on basic customer services.
