Walk-In Clinic at ANMC

The wait time in is horrible. 2 + hours to be actually be seen by a nurse practitioner. There are flights through bush Alaska that are shorter wait times then that’s. Hopefully you can improve wait times. Cause I’m in clinic right now and it’s been 2 hours no provider yet. Just as bad as the ED.

Got turned away at 5:35pm even though posted hours are 9-6. The lady said that they’re closed and not taking anyone. She suggested the ER to me twice, I’m not sure if my spider bite is ER worthy and felt like it was a waste of my time to even attempt to get seen after I got off of work. I just wanted the spider bite to get looked at.

Front desk lady want to be loud and make it heard that she's complaing about why a patient was going there to be seen. Don't need to make people feel uncomfortable because they want to be seen there. Do your job professionally.

We have had incredible, compassionate, and thorough treatment here every time.

I have taken my baby (now 8 months old) to the walk in clinic several times and the woman that answered told me i couldn't take him there because it is only for adults....my son is sick and has never been denied care until today! I am highly upset!
