Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

I’ve received excellent customer service by technicians and pharmacists alike. Also, the lines have been shorter here than at the Walgreens on Castro. Note that a lot of the low ratings and poor reviews are for the Walgreens on Castro at 18th, not this “specialty” pharmacy on 18th near the Edge.

Came all the way across town because this place is supposed to be open 24 hours. It’s 4:30am. Absolutely inconceivable. Terrible, poorly managed abysmal Walgreens. These people need to be fired and replaced.

We will no longer be going to this Walgreens. The guy named John who works there was rude to my sister when she was getting vaccinated.His name is John or Mike? His attitude towards customers is unacceptable. Very insecure person!!

I would recommend to try other compound pharmacy if you come here for compound medication. Upon a compound medication is called in, it had to wait 24-48 hours for formulation from "corporate" as it was conveyed to me. I checked in after 48 hours, they still did not have the formulation and did not know when to receive it. It then indicated at that time that it will be 2-5 days upon receipt of formulation before the med is ready. Try and imagine you potentially have to wait FIVE days before receiving any medical relief!!

There are better pharmacy’s with better service and people who actually seem like they like what they do.
