Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

They keep screwing up my child’s chemotherapy regimen. This is for treating leukemia and it’s important and it’s serious. I opened a 100mL bottle of 6mp on June 21. His dose is 3.5mL. He got 28 doses. You do the math. How many doses of 3.5mL will a 100mL bottle give? Exactly 28.57 doses which means on day 29, he cannot get his dosage. For some reason they said “too soon to fill” despite the math “mathing”. Thankfully it was overridden and he’ll get the bottle tomorrow but it means he will miss his chemo dose tonight. Not ideal when you’re treating cancer. Maybe they need to brush up on their math skills? Idk.

Community Walgreens @ 25 Merrimack St. Lowell is a fantastic pharmacy, I can't say enough about the place. They helped me in such a way that words couldn't describe how much i appreciated their help. Melissa & Amanda are remarkable. I would recommend this Pharmacy to anyone.

Best staff in any Walgreens. Never have an issue with getting my medicine from them.

Very nice people there. The hours are a bit tricky to work around for a full-time student/worker, but it's worth it for quality of care!
