Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

Avoid this specialty pharmacy like the plague. My eye doctor sent in a prescription for drops and told me I would receive a phone call from the pharmacy to let me know when it is ready to pick up. Two weeks later I had heard nothing so I called in myself to check the status. The male pharmacist (I don't know his name) that I spoke with could not have been ruder and more condescending if he tried. First he flippantly told me they didn't have an order for me. Then when I pushed him on it, he said they actually did receive the order, but it's not the type of drug they would ship out and any other pharmacy could fill it. I tried to ask if it was at least filled and I could pick it up instead of it being shipped, and he told me they hadn't planned on filling it at all. So of course I asked to

These guys are the best - I’ve been having issues getting a replacement for a manufacturing error and they’ve been empathetic and proactive in communication and pushing the issue to resolution. They go above and beyond in taking care of patients.

I love this specialty pharmacy. Makes getting my Rx way easier than going to a full Walgreens.

I'm in excruciating pain from uti while trying to get antibiotics for weeks. Finally urology calls in prescription, I pay, pick up as paperwork has my info. Go home right away to take due to the pain. ...Come to find out after looking at bottle, that pharmacy gave me someone else's meds for a anti depression med that is from some Dr I never heard of, nor the patient name. ...I feel like I am gonna half to go back to ER, spend more time and money to relive discomfort and pain, then back to Walgreens to get my meds I desperately need and have been needing. ...talk about medical malpractice of the Pharmacy at Walgreens

They were able to transfer one of my daughter's medications here when our primary pharmacy was unable to fill it and they were able to fill it that same day. Super helpful in that moment and I appreciate their efforts. Staff was helpful and nice.
