Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy at Rose Medical Center

Extremely unprofessional, inconsistent, and dismissive staff. I rarely leave these kinds of reviews, but my experience with this pharmacy has been consistently negative and has now directly impacted my medical care. The staff (particularly the pharmacists) have been rude and dismissive on multiple occasions to both me and my fiancé. They regularly make conflicting statements—saying one thing one day, then completely changing their stance the next. This lack of consistency caused significant confusion and ultimately contributed to my PCP discharging me without merit, despite my following the instructions that this pharmacy itself required. I really wanted to share my positive experience at Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, especially because of a pharmacist Annett. She's truly outstanding! Annett consistently goes above and beyond. Every time I've interacted with her, she's been incredibly knowledgeable and patient. She takes the time to explain everything about my medications, making sure I really understand what I'm taking and why. I never feel rushed, and she always answers all my questions clearly – even the complicated ones! Honestly, it's rare to find someone so compassionate and dedicated in healthcare. Annett's professionalism and genuine care really make a difference. She's a huge asset to the Walgreens team, and I'm just so grateful for her help. Came to pick up my child’s medicine. Not all was ready bc one had been sent to another pharmacy. The gentleman said it would be 5 mins. It was more like 15mins. Very unprofessional. When I inquired about one of the medications pharmacist just stoop there instead of saying the medication needed a prior authorization. This isn’t the first time. Will not be back. Everyone came and left while I was left there standing had to ask if the medication was ready.

Some staffs make me very upset. , when I try to buy the nice brand snacks on the hanger stand price it show 2 for $5 . There has left 1 pack. I tried to combine with same nice brand with other 2 for $5 snack those staffs argue with me the price is not 2 for $5 . I showed what the price on the stands. although, they keep refusing.. and their behaviors are not polite at all. It is so poor services and irresponsible .

This is a specialty location. They do a better job most. This Walgreens makes less mistakes than most. Plus, I can fill scripts anywhere in the country while traveling. Most of the staff is fantastic.
