Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy at Orlando Reg Medical Center

This Walgreens specialty pharmacy gave me a phone consultation which saved me a super long drive. The pharmacist helped reduce my cost to 0 dollars using a coupon he already had prepared and had my medication overnight delivered so I wouldn't spend almost two hours of driving. He was so helpful!

While they got me my medication and got it delivered their communication wasn't the best. A Walgreens in Titusville told me this Orlando Walgreens would call me after they spoke to insurance. They didn't. I finally called them. Also, the Orlando pharmacy told me they'd call me once the medication came in to set up delivery. They didn't. I had to call them.

I was having 1 of those days that was just rough... so the last errand I had to run was to get meds for myself bc I was 8 months pregnant & been sick for 3 weeks and finally gave in and went to the doctors. First time coming here, I wasn't sure how to pick up my prescription. A nice lady told me someone would be helping soon so I waited. Then Akisha came and took my info to get my meds. I used coupons from GoodRx and a medication they normally cost me $150 and got it for $27. They had it ready a lot faster than a Walgreens right across the street from me and with a lot less hassle. The girls were very polite and friendly both e times I've been there. The advertise that they help find medications for complex conditions which is great. I'm not I am not sure if they do compounding of meds although I would think so being a specialty pharmacy but you might want to call to make sure ahead of time if you need something special. I know they do offer additives like sweeteners for kids in meds because it was one of the questions they asked me. Parking is pretty tight but there's usually a spot open on the side of the building. Staff is so quick, pleasant, thorough, and helpful. An employee named Atoshia worked on my behalf to keep my payments way down - insurance, doctors, copay assistance. After finding many closed doors she continued working very hard, and boy did it pay off. I couldn't be more grateful. A million thanks for jumping thru hoops and making magic.
