Walgreens Pharmacy

The quality of Walgreens has continuously deteriorated over the years and their pharmacy is leading their demise. Many years ago I used to work at Rite Aid and I enjoyed my time there. And whenever I needed to get a prescription filled, I never had any issues doing that at their pharmacy. We fast forward to now and Rite Aid is no longer. Walgreens has taken over and now the troubles start. The troubles, which started years ago, have only become worse with every passing year. Once again, the pharmacy is the reason why all of these problems are occurring. I no longer live in Vermont but still have business to do here once a year. In the past, regardless of the medication needed, I have never had any issues with getting another filled. However, that has now changed during my most recent tr

I understand its a small Town and they are typically understaffed but by far this is consistently a horrible experience. You get different answers with every different person you talk to. It takes sometimes over an hour to get your medication. I dont blame the staff but something needs to change. If there was another pharmacy in town I would never step foot in Walgreens again.

If I could give zero I would. Communication;0/5 getting my prescriptions on time 0/5 getting and actual person to answer the phone so you can try to figure out what is going on 0/5 I don’t need to say anything else really I just wish there was another pharmacy close to me but Vermont 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

10/15/20 - Pharmacy closed ALL day on Thursday with NO explanation. Never even heard of such a thing, smfh 01/15/2021 -The pharmacist repeatedly misses a day and they close the pharmacy with no message, no warning, they just leave ya hanging in the middle of a work week. Un fn believable!!

I know - seems crazy to give this store 5 stars but really, it's about the staff who really do a great job in spite of having too few people handling too much work. It's got to be a very very tough place to work with clearly a large volume of prescriptions every day yet Patty, Karen, Jim , several very kind pharmacists and other staff are helpful and patient. If only Walgreen's upper management cared enough to have proper staffing and adequate inventory (never thought I would think fondly of Rite Aide but they stocked a lot of essentials!). So no stars for whoever is in charge - you can and should do better.
