Walgreens Pharmacy

This is regarding the 4900 Mills Civic Pkwy WDSMx, IA pharmacy who advertises same day prescription fills and same day delivery. They rarely provide same day fills anymore and unless you call them or show up at the counter or drive thru they won’t get them filled the same day. Often it takes 3-5 days or more. They seem to be out of stock more now than ever. The same day delivery request through their app is a joke. I have tried it 3 separate times and several hours up to 1 day before and my request was not processed until at closing and it was delayed at least another day before being delivered. Their excuse is it doesn’t get to them on time yet one employee told me they don’t have time to check and it’s the last priority for them. Then they tell me if I need it sooner that I need t

Just really poorly run, seems to be a cluster of disorganization every time I go. One drive through lane but they let someone sit at the window while getting a prescription filled or working on insurance. 20 minutes, zero movement. Just no common sense in managing customers.

Prescriptions are often up to a week late causing significant health issues for me. Insurance requires I use this pharmacy, and the pharmacy will NOT improve its practices.

The worst pharmacy experience ever. The people behind the counter are like robots that only know how to read a screen. They have TERRIBLE customer service and speak down to customers. They will not proactively seek to assist anyone. They lost a coupon of ours that was valued at $468. They never called providers or doctors on behalf of their customers. Always late with prescriptions or getting things mixed up and sending two of one and none of another. Unbelievably bad. Go anywhere besides here.
