Walgreens Pharmacy

I was transferred to this pharmacy when Park Nicollet pharmacy at Carlson Parkway closed. For the first few years it was an absolute circus and I watched the pharmacy struggle to deliver any level of service, made evident by the other poor feedback. And truly I felt bad for the people doing the work, clearly corporate did not want to invest in more staff. I did provide feedback at Walgreens. As of late the staff have improved their service, I don't see some of the same faces anymore but the newer staff is keeping up. I had tried to change pharmacies but this location really works for me. I'm glad they're doing better. Kudos to those who have stuck it out as patients and as staff. We need good pharmacies!!

I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt in the summer and fall of '22 as labor is tight, however I am officially switching pharmacies. My prescription is never ready even when I request a refill and then wait a day to pick it up. Often they do not call my name over the speaker when it is ready and told them I'm waiting in the store. There is almost always a line when I get there (both outside in the drive thru line and inside). Scripts have been transferred to another pharmacy as of Nov 2022.

My medication is always late. Currently I have been waiting over a week for a prescription. The staff always dismisses it and gives me watever the excuse of the day is. The staff is apathetic at best. When I go to pick up my medication, I know I will be in-store for at least 45 minutes. Slow customer service and severely under staffed. I can't stand using this pharmacy.

I arrived at Wayzata Walgreens on 9/14/22 at 10:50 for my 11:00 appointment for 3 vaccinations. Aisha, the Pharmacy clerk, greeted me and everyone else politely and apologized for the long line, but saw people expediously and kept the line moving. Although I had completed the online form for my vaccinations I was asked to complete to more forms in the store as apparently each vaccine requires a separate form (you may wish to point that out on your website.) I only waited another 10 minutes and was seen by Dr. Rania, Pharmacy intern, who was very adept at giving near-painless shots. Both were kind, caring and very professional and I would like to recognize them for the effort that was above and beyond the call of duty. Aisha thanked everyone for their patience and for coming to Walgreens. B

Just about the most caring pharmacists and pharmacy staff you could hope to encounter. Always greet me by name and kindly followed developments in my wife's terminal illness. Genuinely cared for my wife and me, bending over backwards to accommodate our needs. Skillfully navigated bureaucratic impediments (prior authorizations) to facilitate our getting medications in a timely manner. Good people who care about their clients. I would, and have, gone out of my way to receive their professional and humane assistance. My highest compliments.
