Walgreens Pharmacy

At this point I am writing a review for my frustrations on the training of staff when it comes to DEPO compound orders being shipped from another Walgreens. I pay $40 before it even gets shipped out making it legally my medication during the shipping process and upon arriv. I'm not even a tech or a pharmacists there and I have to point exactly where under the counter the depo orders are and tell them the process of just signing 2 papers and hand it over. That's it. Instead I get someone every time who has absolutely no knowledge of depo, how they are pre paid before arrival always with a card saved in the system. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to ship it,l. The fact that a pharmacist, who is suppose to be trained to know this process doesn't know how makes me concerned for my medication bein

I drive 15 minutes to another pharmacy to avoid this place. Dr accidentally sent medicine i need to breath here instead of the other pharmacy and I've been trying for 2 days to get it. Multiple charges on my credit card they say will fall off but who knows. Absolutely avoid if you actually want your medications

My experiences with the Walgreens in Townsend, MA have been consistently frustrating. The customer service is poor, the wait times are easily three times longer than they should be, and they are almost always 30+ minutes behind schedule for vaccinations—even when you have an appointment. Most recently, my prescription was called in at 10:15 AM on Wednesday. Every time I checked on it, I was told “tomorrow,” only to finally be told on Friday—when I really needed it—that it was out of stock. No proactive communication, no explanation. To make things worse, I just sat on hold for 37 minutes, and every single minute the automated message reminded me that they were busy with other customers. It kept saying there were only two people ahead of me, yet the wait dragged on endlessly. Overall, this

Not that this pharmacy needs another 1 star review but, it is a literal game I have to play each and every month to get my Rx. They “don’t see” the Rx or the Dr “never called it in” They’re short the amount so they make me call the Dr. AGAIN to submit another Rx for the remainder amount. Don’t answer their phone Change hours / close early when they want. When you’re on hold after a while they’ll just hang up on you. If you call back guess what- they’ll do it again. They’re out of the Rx and “don’t know” when it’ll restock. If you have an Rx that is life threatening if you don’t have it- DO NOT GO HERE, you will die and they won’t care. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I hate this place, I’ll be switching next refill.

I have been a customer for years getting my rx filled. It used to be so friendly and efficient. But over the past few months the service has gone way down hill. First they stopped my texts for refills reminders. The actual service has been so bad. Like today (5/3/25) I scheduled a vaccination for my son. For 230pm. 30 mins later we finally got his shot, and that was not even the problem, the problem was the rude person behind the counter ( blonde hair with glasses) did not get her name unfortunately because I would be talking to her manger, she knew we were waiting. I asked what was taking so long and instead of being an actual human and just say " sorry it is taking longer than expected but we needed to some paperwork done" or whatever she snapped at me and said " well we had stuff to d
