Walgreens Pharmacy

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. And only came here because Bee Well where we usually go was closed. I took my son to Urgent care YESTERDAY around 11:30. They immediately sent the prescription over for my 2 year old who had a sinus infection AND pink eye. I went twice and my boyfriend went once to try to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. So we came back this morning shortly after they opened to pick it up. Mind you we live 30 MINUTES away. They have a sign posted this morning saying they can’t give out prescriptions because they have no Pharmacists and to check back this afternoon. I am BEYOND MAD. My two year old doesn’t feel good and he should have been on medication for almost 24 hours now and he still doesn’t even have his medicine. Do not go to this pharmacy is you actually want yo

I had an appointment for my flu shot for 10:00. It is now 10:30 and I am still waiting. On top of everything the store is completely dirty. There is dust everywhere. All of the displays have what looks like a decade of dust. Just the place I want to be when waiting for a vaccine. Next year’s vaccine will be out before I get mine. *update* it took a total of an hour and three minutes in the store to get my shot. (They request you show up 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment). This place does not care about your personal time.

Pharmacy is completely understaffed. Lines are unorganized. Staff seem to disappear just as the wait begins to improve. Why offer appointments when it seems they are more a suggestion than a fact? The line went all the way to the window. Got my flu shot an hour AFTER my appointment. I arrived 20 min early. Nice afternoon filling one of the chairs there (not).

They canceled a time sensitive prescription. I had already waited in line for an hour. I called and waited on hold for 30 minutes to be told to have the prescription re sent in and they would have it ready for me. Waited in line another hour to have the lady at the window tell me no one would cancel my prescription or tell me it would be ready and that she just received my prescription and id have to wait another 30 minutes and get back in line a 3rd time. I tried to show her screenshot of my walgreens app where it showed walgreens canceled my original prescription without notifying me just to be blown off and told to come back. Whoever the woman was that answered the phone today 7/10 clearly needs more training and to learn manners. I called to ask if the pharmacy would be participating in the new bill passed that allows birth control to be sold over the counter. She proceeds to cut me off before I finish my sentence and say in a very annoyed tone, “that’s not happening in Arizona”, I told her she’s incorrect, Katie Hobbs passed the bill last week, and she again cuts me off before I’m done speaking and says in a snarky tone “okay well not at Walgreens” so I just hung up. Maybe your pharmacists need an attitude check and to know about laws pertaining to their jobs before they get snippy with a customer asking a simple question.
