Walgreens: Masters of Dishonesty and Obnoxious Service If there were a zero-star option, Walgreens would have earned it. Their drugstore “policies” seem built on outright lies. Time and again they claim they “don’t have” a medication — only for it to magically appear the moment you push back. This isn’t a one-off slip: I personally watched it happen *four times in less than ten minutes* to three different customers. This is not incompetence — it’s dishonesty. Their staff look you straight in the face and lie without hesitation, as if it’s standard practice. Confront them, and suddenly what was “out of stock” is sitting right there. Pharmacist and technician incredibly disrespectful, unknowledgable and lazy. I was put on hold for 17 minutes they would just pick up the phone not address me, I could hear them in the background talking about ordering doordash and put me back on hold for 17 minutes. I called back and they hung up on me. The third time I called back they pretended not to hear me just kept saying hello hello and hung up. The 4th time I called they kept asking me what type of medication, dose, how many vials etc. Until I requested for them to look up my name so they could check the medication themselves, they said they did have it but the doctor would need to send the rx again, then said well we actually dont have it in stock. What shouldve taken at the most 10minutes took an hour. Incompetent.

The customer service and proper procedure in handling medication in a sanitary manner here is truly lacking. A few days ago we got a partial fill of our prescription and were informed to come back one day later to complete the rest our prescription because they were out of stock. Come back a few days later beccause there is no update and they still don't have it. No apology and just tell us to go to a different store with attitude. Understand that logistics in getting supplies can be an issue but that doesn't excuse poor customer service. There should have been an apology, explanation, and/or assistance in finding alternatives instead of giving attitude. I asked that they request a prescription refill. They agreed. A week passed with no update. When I came in to ask, they said “oh, we said we did, but we never actually requested it.” I asked them AGAIN to please contact the doctor. They AGAIN FAILED. I have now asked them a third time after being without medication for two straight weeks, and have absolutely no reason to believe they’ll do it.
