Walgreens Pharmacy

Honestly they need to be shut down for gross mismanagement. I need critical heart meds and had plenty of refills. Got a voicemail saying my refills are ready went to pick up was told I did not have any fills…. Went home grabbed my empty bottles that had refills stated….the incompetent young girl told me I had no refills and bottles are wrong……

I’ve never had a problem with getting my prescriptions filled until Ridgecrest. I was told to have my doctor resubmit the rx due to the fact it had expired. I got it resubmitted and now I’m told to find a number online to contact a Walgreens speciality pharmacy. If that’s the case why have me call the doctor to have it resubmitted to your location.

Absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever had to deal with in over 25 years. I have used Walgreens for my prescriptions for years without any issues until moving to Ridgecrest. They are completely disorganized and unprofessional. Everytime I've had to call, they have been incredibly rude and short tempered. They have been out of stock of my medication for almost 3 weeks now and canceling my prescription orders without being able to give me a definitive date for when they will actually have it in stock. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else to get your prescriptions.

After wasting 3 hours at the hospital just to get a prescription, I arrive at Walgreens before the posted lunch time and it was closed. I returned and was told it be 20mins for my daughter's prescription to be filled. I leave and return in 30 mins to a representative basically telling me they didnt have my daughters information in the system. So why could the first rep tell me that? More time wasted and I'm dragging around a sick child. Annoyed to say the less. It's going on 6 hours of me trying to get medication for my daughter. Mind you, aim active duty military and our clinic is closed and thus this is what I have to deal with. And I'm still waiting... and it's been over 30mins and yet I entered as a "waiting customer". I hate to leave bad reviews when I’m sure the staff is doing their best and this is just a result of poor management, but there has been a problem nearly every time I’ve been to this pharmacy. It was unreliable to the point that I switched for fear of actual health issues. I was concerned that the number of errors would culminate in an incorrect number of pills or an inability to pick it up on the day it was needed, and some prescriptions are not safe to stop abruptly. Further, some pickup laws are very strict and I would rather not lose a prescription and be on a watch list because of someone else’s error. I would absolutely recommend going just about anywhere else.
