Walgreens Pharmacy

Prior to coming to this location,my provider's office and I called. I spoke with the pharmacist to verify that my medication was in stock. During the duration of the call, I informed the pharmacist I was verifying this information as it was a long drive for me and did not want to drive this long distance if my prescription could not be filled. He states okay, I have the medication, can fill the prescription, and it should not be a problem. After battling traffic for over an hour, I arrive at the location only to be told he will not fill my prescription because my address was not in the vicinity of the pharmacy. I spoke to the pharmacy at 7:48 pm & informed them I was en route to pick up an important prescription .... I arrived at 7:59 pm to the drive thru only for them to look at me in the drive thru and proceed to walk away & cut the lights off .. How unprofessional !!

Arrived at 4 and they told me to come back at 7. It's crazy to think it would take 3 hours to complete such a simple prescription. I'm thinking the person told me to come back after their shift was over, so someone else has to do it. I won't be using this store again.

Unfortunately, the manager on duty was not intelligent. I purchased 2 items a week ago and realized I had the wrong formula(facial cleaner for dry instead of oily skin) today I brought them back to make an even exchange for the correct formula. The manager wouldn’t honor the price I already paid and tried to make me pay additional because they aren’t currently on sale! Who does that??? An even exchange is just that... an even exchange! Not a rerun and buy it again at a different price. So I told her to refund my money and of course she refunded WHAT I PAID not what the items cost today. This is my local Walgreens but I’m not sure I’ll be back if this is how they conduct business.

This place is horrible! My son is on a certain medication that is hard to find. Nobody ever has it in stock and they always have to order it. I can deal with that but the problem is this pharmacy often forgets to order it after I drop off the prescription and then I have to wait even longer! My son has run out of the medication he needs multiple times because of them. Most recently when I got the text notification saying the prescription was ready I went to pick it up but they HAD NOT EVEN ORDERED IT YET!!! They didn’t even put it in the system!! I told them I got a notification that it was ready and they said “oh our system is messed up”. Now we have to wait another week and pray they don’t forget again and my son is already out of what we had left. This is utterly ridiculous!
