Walgreens Pharmacy

Walgreens pharmacy is fantastic. Not only do they keep your prescriptions on file, they let advise when you need to order a refill. Their online portal is easy to use and the prescriptions can be picked up or set up for delivery. We have used the for year and they are always kind and will answer any question with patience. My husband, after 2 days in the ICU needed to start injected medication, which was called in by the ER team. When my husband picked it up but when we got home we realized the 2 main prescriptions were not in stock. We contacted the Walgreens and spoke with Jack in the pharmacy. I have been exceptionally grateful for just how helpful the pharmacy manager, Dave, as well as all the pharmacists and pharmaceutical technicians have been. My son and I both take a medication that is in short supply. In order to help us out, Dave and the store general manager, Jack, gave their direct numbers so we could reach out a week before the refill comes due and allow them to special order it in advance.

I filled out the review on the receipt but I honestly feel like that wasn’t enough. I went into the Walgreens in poway today for the first time in 2 months and as I walked in I was greeted by name from the cashier. She proceeded to ask me how my baby was doing because the last time I came in almost two months ago I was getting baby medicine and told her about how I had a newborn. Her name is Trang and I’m sure if you’ve been to the Walgreens in Poway you’ve definitely met her before. Trang is a rare type of person and that one interaction honestly made my whole day. The fact I’ve only gone there a few times and it’s been months since my last visit and she still remembers my name and some of the things I told her about just absolutely made my day.

Just rude, every time. Definitely moving my prescriptions elsewhere because it really isn’t worth coming here expecting care and respect, because you won’t find it here.

Why is it 75% of the time when I go to the pharmacy? I walk out very upset. It's is amazing how this one establishment then do that to a person. This time they're on their one hour lunch break. Seems to me for pharmacy. They should leave staff there, and each take turns out for their lunch.People pick up the prescriptions every hour every day. I dread going to the pharmacy, because I walk out really upset
