Walgreens Pharmacy

This Walgreens is very poorly managed. There are times when it is closed without notice and other times you’re put on hold for over 17 minutes. They need to hired more reliable staff!

Consistently poor service for years now. One time they gave me skin cleanser with instructions to rinse my mouth. I took it back and they said "well it has the same active ingredient" and then gave me the actual oral rinse. I was done after that. I miss Monticello Drug store. Walgreens drove them out but now big corp is struggling. Support small businesses folks.

They do not abide by their posted hours. I have gone by twice in last week and they are not open at 4pm, even though their posted hours are 8am-6pm Mon-Fri. Update your hours or be there! UPDATE: They called the following day and told me they are short-staffed, so they had to close early.

The one here in Monticello, IL has really gone downhill the last few years. They are often randomly closed. It sometimes takes days to get prescriptions filled. I often get a 30-day supply of pills, and the bottle is so big that the pills barely cover the bottom. I know several people who have switched to Kirby Pharmacy.

Yes they are always friendly and helpful, that being said, the store hours are not as posted and they cannot keep the store staffed properly in order to be open as hours are posted. Saturdays being the problem without notice.
