Walgreens Pharmacy

I’m very disappointed…I’ve used this Walgreens for a few years and have been happy with it. Lately there seems to be a lack of communication with insurance, and lack of proficiency in employees. It takes maybe 1 out of 4-5 to get the correct information. Yesterday I was told by a pharmacist that prescription would be ready today. Today I was told that my insurance denied the claim ( which I well knew that wasn’t the case) I had to speak with my insurance company, at which time they told me that it was covered . They had to call Walgreens to tell them this. They had me on 3 way call. At which time the pharmacist which was on the line told insurance that they didn’t have in stock anyway and didn’t know when they would and suggested that I ask my provider to prescribe something else. 0 STARS! Worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had! First drove to the counter they said it would take about an hour to fill, okay whatever I’m sick I need medication asap. Waited 2 hours for my prescription in the car and then another 45 minutes in the drive thru line while having a fever and chills! When I get to the window finally, the staff ignore me for another 20 minutes, while helping other people who are walking right up as I sit at the window! Then find out they can’t take my GoodRx discount and the medication is stupid expensive for an antibiotic! When I addressed the staff member about the wait time he said absolutely NOTHING! Not even a sorry for the wait! I felt like driving my car into the building at this point I was so frustrated and sick! I’m crying as I leave I’m so frustra

Staff is friendly enough but wait times are ridiculous since they only ever have one person at the indoor checkout. By the time you sit in like for 20+ min in the drive through, you'll go inside and wait for another 20+ min while they finally help the drive thru customers. Its a lose/lose either way.

This pharmacy is really hit or miss. The staff is always friendly, but the wait times are wild. Half the time they have my prescriptions ready to go and the other half of the time they say they never received it yet I get a text message from their system saying they did and that it's ready for pickup...

I personally had a great experience. I don't live near this location but all the other Walgreens didn't have my antibiotics. I called right when they opened asking if they could expedite my Rx while I was still in the area and it was immediately ready.
