I’d leave zero stars, if possible. I cannot speak for the pharmacists themselves, but a majority of the female staff at this location are incredibly rude. I’ve never experienced treatment like this before. My veterinarian had called this location four times trying to have a seizure medication filled for my dog. Each time the office would be put on hold for 20 mins to an hour, and every time they were hung up on. They attempted to fax the script to the pharmacy, and the pharmacy claimed they didn’t receive anything. I tried calling them, and the same thing happened-they hang up on you. If you visit in-person, it’s typically just as awful as an experience. It leaves you feeling uneasy, like you’re not going to be able to get your medication. Extremely Disrespectful Pharmacist – Disappointing Experience I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I’ve had more than one disappointing encounter at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Manhattan Beach that needs to be addressed—specifically with one of the pharmacists, a younger gentleman with curly, dark brown hair. His attitude and approach to customers are shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. On one occasion, I watched a customer step forward to the counter after waiting patiently in line. Instead of calmly redirecting them, this pharmacist snapped, “Wait until I call you up,” in a tone that was unnecessarily aggressive. It wasn’t what he said—it was how he said it. They waited until 1 hour after the time they told me my prescription would be ready to tell me they don’t even carry that medicine. Now all other pharmacies are closed and I’m going to have another really bad, sleepless night.

As a high level health care worker myself, I understand the complexities of medicine and needing to triage, etc. This pharmacy used to be great- everyone had we helpful, courteous and seemed to genuinely care about their patients/clients. If you need your meds soon PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION. My mom was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and at extremely high risk for a stroke. Yesterday she had to (by ambulance) go to the ER for a suspected stroke. I’ve been trying to get an extremely important blood thinner for days and the rude and lack-of-common-empathy techs told me that they were short staffed and had 80 prescriptions before me. I told them I understood but asked if there was any way to expedite due to the high risk my mom is in. No “I’m sorry, I will try” no empathy, just rude excus

They never check their voicemails that doctors have left for prescriptions. When you call them and ask them to check their voicemail, they say they will and hang up. It’s difficult to get through on their phone lines and even after my doctor left 3 messages spanning from 9am to 3pm, they still hadn’t checked their voicemail at 6pm. My doctor was kind enough to call another pharmacy for me. If I could give zero stars I would.
