Walgreens Pharmacy

Love the store. The pharmacy not so much. Was excited to find a location so close to my home. Had been a great experience, but as of late, I've had nothing but problems. Prescriptions have sit in the processing mode for days. Then I canceled it and tried to transfer to Walmart. For some reason, all my scripts have not been transferred. Because I was out of the medication, I tried again to refill. This time it was waiting for insurance. Since I was out, I decided to pay out of pocket for the medicine without insurance. Found out it was waiting for a response from the pharmacist about a possible interaction to another med. Both I have been taking for years. Although I have requested 90 day scripts, Walgreens Pharmacy continues to fill for 30 days. I checked with insurance and th

My boyfriend went to go pick up my thyroid medicine and the lady with blue hair was extremely rude and talked down to him. We are now switching our pharmacy. Hopefully that employee will learn how to treat people with kindness. It’s a shame because this is the closest pharmacy to us but we would rather drive further for better service.

Though a very kind staff - when they are open, but we had a prescription need on 1/1/2025, and the whole store was CLOSED!! This is very rare, as Walgreens stores - east to west coast, have always been open on holidays, though usually with a more limited schedule at smaller stores, but this left us having to drive quite a ways to another town, in order to supply the medical urgency we were having!

Staff is super friendly and very helpful. I asked where something was and was walked to the item. Pharmacy staff is awesome as well. I fell educated every time I leave there.

Waited over an hour for a prescription they told me was never called in. I called my doctor over and over over for them to keep telling me they did call it in. Turns out it was on the fax machine the entire time and they just never checked. The two auburn haired girls that answered the window every time I pulled up were both dismissive and rude. Some additional training on customer service and job duties would go a long way for both.
