Walgreens Pharmacy

No idea how this place is still in business. Waited in line for 20 minutes to collect my father’s life saving medication, before told they were too busy to take any orders, and we’d be better off going to the CVS up the road. Unbelievably appalling service.

WORST Pharmacy ever! 30-45 min wait on the phone, lines down the aisle in the store, 7 or 8 cars in line for the drive through! Plus, after waiting through all of those day after day they tell me my prescription is not ready! And that’s after their automated system said it is! The next day I get a VM saying it’s waiting on the doctor. Doctor says it was called in weeks ago! Two hrs later I get a vm saying it’s ready…2 hrs later a vm saying the insurance kicked it back as being already filled and picked up days earlier! Insurance said they paid Walgreens for it yesterday but Walgreens says it wasn’t picked up but they admit submitting multiple prescriptions for it and they don’t know why they did! I don’t understand how this pharmacy is in business. After several visits, I can confidently say that unless your prescription was put in three days ago, you aren’t getting it today. Bless the Techs, they are doing their best. One told me that they had 11 techs leave within the same week, so obviously there is a management or overall Walgreens issue here. Don’t send your prescriptions here. You’ll wait hours for important medication.

One cashier was very pleasant. The other one, large girl was playing on her phone and has zero personality. In fact she has One bad attitude. She's very messy + obviously doesn't like her job. I was back in there again today to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy technician was very cordial and attentive. So they get an extra star based on today's visit.

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with this Walgreens pharmacy. I’ve called multiple days in a row and waited on hold for over two hours without ever being able to speak to anyone. In person, the pharmacy line is consistently backed up with 10+ customers, which makes getting prescriptions or asking questions very difficult. It appears many staff members are new and could benefit from additional training and support. This location seems overwhelmed, and it’s impacting customer care and access to medications. This area clearly needs expanded pharmacy hours or an additional Walgreens location to meet demand. Until staffing and availability improve, I can’t recommend using this pharmacy.
