Walgreens Pharmacy

A family member needed a pain medication after surgery, and it was sent to Walgreens. When I went to pick it up I was told it wouldn't be ready for three days because they were out of stock. I explained it was needed now and was told to find another pharmacy. The pharmacy didn't try another Walgreens to see if they could fill it. Absolutely no attempt was made by the staff at the Plain St location to help me out. Because it was a narcotic I had to have the doctor send it to another pharmacy. I will never use Walgreens for anything. CVS was very helpful. The medication was not available at one location and the pharmacist sent to another location. No hassle.

I have attempted to have my prescriptions filled here probably 4 different times over the last year. On every single occasion, I am told they will fill it in a couple of hours and I am to receive a text after signing up. I never get a text. No big ideal. The last time this happened, I simply gave up and never went back (after visiting the store multiple times). Yesterday, I went in around 5pm to fill a new script my doctor sent in. They told me it would be a couple of hours and again, I would get a text. No big deal. Never got a text and figured I’d call in the morning. Called this morning and they said it wasn’t ready…. and to again, wait for the text a few hours later…what was the point in me going to the store to get it filled and being told “a couple of hours” the night prior? The phone hangs up on me because I hurt the AI phone systems feelings🧐. The app is garbage. But the pharmacist is helpful.

Been there 3 days straight trying to figure out the best way to get a sold out prescription and told me I had to call and not the pharmacist themselves. I’ve been dying to breathe the right way and someway or another no one wants to help and I’m jumping from one place to another now I’m back to square one where I have to call my original pharmacist to call the available pharmacy that has it. I’m tired of waiting honestly.

Took a covid test for travel, and I never received a confirmation that my specimen sample got collected. The staff stated that the turn around is within 48 hours but it has been over 72 hours and there was still no result. My business travel state that the test result must be within 72hour so walgreen pretty much screwed me over...and it wasn't just me. There were many other people who encounter the same situation.
