Walgreens Pharmacy

Retail staff great. Pharmacy worst ever. They never have medications ready on time and don’t seem to care. When it was Rite Aid one person had medications ready on time every time no question. More people they have work in the pharmacy the slower they get. And if you need your medication on a Friday you will have to wait until Monday because they are so lazy.

Went for my yearly Flu shot and updated Covid vaccine last week, Oct 2024. Have been shopping here and getting my shots here since they opened. Olivia took excellent care of me!! She was very professional and friendly!! Always a clean, well-stocked store. Lots of parking, plus a drive-thru. I’ll be transferring my medications here starting this month!! I have the Walgreens app loaded on my cell. It’s very useful and easy to use! I schedule all my vaccinations thru it and order my monthly meds from it!! I’ve also ordered over the counter meds and groceries from the Walgreens App and had the order delivered within 2 hours! Try the app, I think you’ll like it!!

5 stars for the retail staff here. I like shopping here. But zero stars for the worst pharmacy ever. If you have important medications that you need to take on time, you CANNOT count on them. I’m organized and careful with our meds but this pharmacy makes it so I’m always scrambling to get my family’s meds on time. They will not give you proper information and reasons for delays with filling prescriptions. They don’t help you at all. It often takes me multiple tries to get a single prescription. It makes managing meds really difficult. Also, prescriptions that we take every month for years are just randomly out of stock but they give a different reason for not filling, then tell you later they don’t have it. Went there at 2:13 today. The cashier was really nice and very polite but the two stars only because of how rude his manager was. We are out of town and we asked about where we can grab sandwiches/food (we were just asking for recommendations). The cashier wasn’t sure so he asked his manager who out loud replied “we are not a visiting center. I don’t know. Just google it.” How rude ! She could have said she wasn’t sure or recommended a random place considering the amount of tourists that come to Lake George. This sucked and it was definitely uncalled for.

The worst experience in my life. We went to pick up our order. While we were using the bathroom, a woman in red jacket started yell outside, and at first I didn’t pay attention to and as we exited, she started cursing and saying she was living here and we shouldn’t use the bathroom. I believe she is working here or having connection with this store as we saw her Toyota car still there on our way back after dinner.
