This place is absolutely terrible. My wife has to call her prescription in every month, she waits on hold over an hour each time waiting to get through. Today she had been on hold for 45 minutes, so I called on my phone and after 20 minutes on hold they answered my call but hung up before I could say anything. My wife was still on hold(now 1 hour and 5 minutes) even though she had been in their “queue” before me and then her line was dropped. We called back and talked to a manager that put us through to the pharmacy. The person who answered gave excuses and even told my wife “well we are hiring so if you know anybody”. The people who work there are also very rude and blatantly lie to my wife. They told her last month they were out of stock and it would take a few days to fill her prescript
These people do not know what they are doing. I get texts saying my medication is ready, but when I drive 35 miles, one way, to pick it up, it is either not ready, out of stock, or they claim my doctor never called it in. It happens over and over and over again. EVERY SINGLE MONTH!!!!!!
This place is such a joke. They switch your medication without telling you and will basically say not their problem. They also refuse to answer the phone, I’ve sat on hold twice now for at least 45 minutes with no answer, dont bother going through the drive through because you’ll sit there just as long.
My daughter who is 6, was prescribed an antibiotic for 10 days. The crew at walgreens was amazing the day I got it filled. However, the instructions for taking the med were printed wrong on the bottle and their paperwork (3 X per day). For 7 days, I was giving an extra dose to her. We ran out and I called the Dr to send an Rx for more to a closer pharmacy. This pharmacy had the instructions for 2 X per day. When I called the Dr, I was referred to poison control for possible overdose. After a lengthy conversation with Poison Control, I contacted this Walgreens. During my call the gentleman I was speaking with said "what would you like us to do now". There wasn't an apology until the end of our phone call. They did reimburse the amount I paid for the Rx (they said it would arrive
Pharmacy is not good with anything could be a staffing issue but CVS is a better option for sure.
