Walgreens Pharmacy

I’m on a mental health medication that causes the user withdrawals when not taking it consistently. Not to mention it sends you into a horrible depression. I was told that my insurance wouldn’t cover it until the 16th, which would mean a 4-day stretch without it. I asked for an emergency 72-hour supply and was told they can’t do. I ended up coming back later the same day because I had gotten physically sick from the withdrawals of not taking my Sertraline (Zoloft). Again I was told I’d have to pay out-of-pocket, which I simply don’t have the money for right now. Despite knowing that I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms and was planning to pick my medication up on the 16th, they failed to mention that they’re closed on Saturdays unlike every other Walgreens Pharmacy near me. I had to switch my medication over to this location, the staff were all friendly and had great customer service. I got to give Amy big shout out for going above and beyond for me. I'm forever grateful for all your kindness this lovely lady deserves a raise.. best customer service I have ever received. Thank u and I'll be coming here for my medication all the way from bloomington that speaks volumes.

Never really had any issues here before in the past, as I've been picking up prescriptions at this location for 3 years now. Today though, there was an extremely rude, blue-haired girl working back in the pharmacy, that I'd not seen before. She offered very poor customer service, and was actually behaving quite aggressively, when I brought up that the medication was supposed to be on a work comp claim.. Sorry that I've inconvenienced you?? After years of coming here, I will no longer. I'll have my prescriptions sent elsewhere, thanks for being rude!

Pharmacy staff are always helpful and kind. They can be busy as that is a reality of any store. Higher ups need to pay them a lot more because they're worth more. Realy sad to see a company pay workers much less than they're worth.

Why is this pharmacy closed on weekends. That’s ridiculous!
