Walgreens Pharmacy

Terrible hours for a pharmacy. They open at 10:00 a.m. on Monday not Sunday when the hospital is open. This is way too late for people in need of medication. Also, this is the closest Walgreens to the hospital, so they should open sooner. Shocked that Walgreens would allow this to happen.

Person at the register at the Hatton Place location was EXTREMELY rude to me. In trying to make conversation I said to him “I see you here a lot, different times of the day”. He proceeded to tell he’s been at this location for 17 years then went on about how I did not need to say things “like that” and ranted for several minutes including his life story and about his father. I tried to break in to let him know I was merely making conversation because I do indeed see him just about anytime I go in. I have no clue why what I said upset him so. He was just RUDE. At the end of his rant I apologized if something I said upset him and I was merely making conversation with him. I WILL NIT BE GOING TO THIS LOCATION ANYMORE.

We are visiting from out of town, my infant has a “raging double ear infection”, the MD sent the anbx to this pharmacy, when we went to put it up, there was a sign in front of the pharmacy saying “due to personal issue they are closed till Monday”. We the. Had to call the MD and have them txf th me prescription to CVS and when we went to pick it up, they said they couldn’t sumbit it to insurance because Walgreens already did. So we had to pay out of pocket. Please tell me how Walgreens sumbit it to insurance when they are closed and we had not even picked it up yet! Oh I’m so pissed!🤬

On Hilton head- 4:26-21 pharmacy closed at 4PM. Nobody notified me to come earlier. Called south end, they are closing early too and even though they are still open refuse to fill my prescription as they are closing in 20 minutes. They informed me that every Walgreens in the area is closing early today so they are unable to transfer it. This is the worst service. The pharmacist on the phone refused to give me her name. Do better Walgreens. I’m going to cvs from now on.

Horrible customer service. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays now. No pharmacist on duty yesterday (Friday July 30), no notice of this, so customers were unable to pick up prescriptions before the weekend. Thankfully, my two medications are not life altering so I can go the weekend without but others, such as geriatric patients, may rely on certain meds and most often people need them before the weekend. Horrible way to run a pharmacy; should give customers a notice. I for one will be transferring my medications to another pharmacy and will be recommending my patients to also.
