Walgreens Pharmacy

I called on Thursday, Dec 18, 2025 at 5:23 pm with questions. The person I spoke to (his name might be Lissto) sounded impatient and used words like “Oh my God, how do I explain it to you?” and “what is your conclusion?”. When I asked about pick up, he initially said “You can come but I wont give it to you”. He later cleared it up by saying “your insurance wont pay for it” but the tone stood out. Respectful communication should be the baseline. I hope this receives attention from management.

This is absolutely the worst and most unprofessional pharmacy location in this area. They never answer the phone and the prescriptions are left “in progress” for ridiculous periods of time. I always have to call them because they will have the prescription but will wait to fill it until I call to ask the status. Don’t waste your time. Go to the Kearny location.

It’s quite apparent that Walgreens management does not care about this location. The employees are rude, unhelpful, and are not able to work through basic register transactions. The store is rarely stocked, expensive and dirty. My recommendation is to go to another pharmacy or store for your needs.

This location needs to be replaced by CVS. Aside from the store looking dark and outdated inside, the pharmacy isn’t great at all. I’ve only been here twice to pick up medicine, and both times I was either told my prescription was not filled yet even though I confirmed before heading there, and the other time I was told the medicine they had available couldn’t be sold because of a system technical issue.

First off I would like to say that my family and I have been shopping at this particular location for years! Since before when it was a Rite-Aid. I have always kept high regards for this store even with it's more than rude and unprofessional employees! And the main reason for this is because of the store manager Carla!! She is the best and will help you with anything that you may need. She is super professional and extremely knowledgeable about the products sold within the store and goes above and beyond to assist you while shopping if you request her help. I wish the same could be said for the rest of the staff, or even a larger fraction because as long as I have been a patron of this store it seems like it finds the bottom of the barrel out of the hiring options!!
