Walgreens Pharmacy

I was out of town for the past 3 days and according to my Walgreens app had two prescription to pick-up. The app told me for one of the prescription I had until September 3 to pick it up. I went to the pharmacy and requested my prescription and was only given one. The pharmacy tech explained the other one had already been returned to the shelf and would not be filled until tomorrow. Because I was in the drive-thru and did not want to hold up the line I parked my car and went inside. Once inside I spoke with the Pharmacy Manager Asna who said it is their policy to return all prescription unclaimed for 10 days to the shelf at 5pm on the 10th day. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, I had called them ahead of time to let them know I was going to come in. The guy on the phone said okay yeah we will have it ready. I wanted to make sure they had my medication. I come in and let them know I’m there to pick up my metformin and wegovy. Then like 3 minutes later the pharmacy technician comes back and tells me they were gonna give me a partial for 5 days! I said no I want the full amount. I used to work at a Walgreens pharmacy if I had a patient call me about their medication i would always CHECK if we had it in stock. It’s a bit frustrating when they could clearly check. Instead I’m met with attitude because I don’t want the partial. Nobody has time to be coming back and forth. They definitely need to do better period.

This is the worst pharmacy in the area. They have lied to me on more than one occasion. I will never use this location again.

Ive never had problems with them. I do miss the old store, had better selections. But everyone nice.
