Walgreens Pharmacy

The associate working the pharmacy drive thru on 9/14 at 10 a.m. wearing a green and black print cardigan didn’t have to be so unpleasant this morning. She had a crap attitude from the beginning and an annoyed look to match. Came to pick up a prescription that showed was filled on 9/12 and she told me it was pulled on the 12th and would be ready for pick up tomorrow. I asked if I was possible I could pick it up later today and with her attitude replied, if we have it in stock, laid the phone down and walked away. We were just waiting for an answer, if it’s not possible, fine, I misunderstood and would have come back tomorrow. She comes back moments later and scans a prescription and slides it through, didn’t verify my address like normal and didn’t get back on the phone to say anything so

Lets just say I had to do a lot to get an RX refilled. I understand there are regulations for normal and special circumstances, but when I follow the pharmacy's directions I shld be treated w/ grace n respect especially if someone on your end dropped the ball. Stuff happens, just not a good look today.

I really don’t know about the problems other people have had but I have had a totally different experience. I have no complaints. I have a couple of prescriptions that I have had a lot of trouble with at different Pharmacies. On more than one occasion the pharmacist said they had it when they didn,t. On more than one occasion I went a week or so after I had run out. I have had such problems with this Walgreens. 100% of the time my prescription was in when they said it would be. One time I got a partial fill but was able to pick up the prescription the next day.

Spoke with the pharmacist tech to check if a specific medication was in stock luckily it was and over the phone she began the filling and processing of the prescription, I begged her to allow me to go ahead and pay over the phone. Apparently with this specific medication if you show up prior to you picking yours up they will fill the person in front of them with what was supposed to be yours....needless to say I was told it be filled by 12:30 , I arrived around 4 and was told it wouldn't be in stock until the next day... I told her I tried to pay over phone because I've found out they will give it to someone else before you have a chance to pick up yours. REGARDLESS of the medication this should never happen and wouldn't you know after telling her all this she walks away and has some magi

We had appointments for a covid shot June 2024. Went to the appointment and checked in, were told to wait, then were told by the pharmacist himself that they wouldn't do the shot because it had been recalled and a new formulation would be available in August. I didn't trust him. So we went to cvs down the street and got the vaccinations. Why take appointments just to do that? I think they just didn't want to bother. Their website is still taking appointments.
