Walgreens Pharmacy

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was released from Urgent Care and received a notification at 6:54 PM that my prescription had been sent to this Walgreens. The pharmacy closes at 8:00 PM, and Urgent Care (less than a mile away) closed at 7:00 PM, so we went straight there. When we arrived, the staff member told us they could not fill my prescription because they were “waiting on insurance.” I explained that I was extremely sick, had already been ill for four days, and had just paid $75 out of pocket for the Urgent Care visit. I clearly told them I was willing to pay the cash price for the medication so I could get relief. Instead of helping, the employee ignored both me and my husband multiple times while we were speaking to her, then abruptly walked off and rudely said they would

My granddaughter got discharged from Picu in Greenville and walgreens was the only place we could find her meds. We were told that she had to start it the next morning or would have to go back to Picu. The pharmacist was so rude and said that she would not feel it tonight she had too many other prescriptions. When we explained that she would have to go back if she did not have it she said well I'm not feeling it tonight have a good night. I will never shop at Walgreens again for nothing. So whoever the pharmacist is that was there on 11-11-2025 I hope and pray you never need anything and can't get it.

It would be ZERO STARS BUT 🤷🏽‍♀️The experience I had today was degrading and extremely disrespectful. First ,I encountered KELLY in the pharmacy..just to ask if they received the prescription from my Dr. She rudly informed me that they did have it but did not have my insurance (I'm new here, as well as never filled previously).. After giving my insurance information, I was put on hold just to be told the pharmacist ;AMANDA ,was refusing to fill it because of how MY PSYCHIATRIST wrote My prescription for ME without speaking to her. Once speaking to my Dr, AMANDA was extremely rude to her as well ! Demanding that my LEGIT prescription be rewritten ,which took more time . How they speak and treat individuals with mental health issues is beyond ridiculous. I will be filing a formal complaint.

Lindsey was the store manager today 1/11/25. My family had a good experience with her. She was very polite and professional. She made our store purchase a great one. We will come back and shop at this location. Thanks Lindsey for making my family feel welcome at this store.

0n 1/8/2025 around 11am, my Sister visited Walgreens on Wayne Memorial for a walk-in to receive the COVID-19 shot and was told to go online to make an appointment because walk-in appointments take from 1 hour to 2 1\2 hrs before you can get the shot. There was nobody in line to receive the shot. Another customer was standing there behind my Sister that heard every word from the pharmacist and she had an expression on her face...like really. Anyway, my Sister just said, ok and walked out of the store. My Sister said, she went to the Pharmacy at Harris Teeter as a walkin and they took her right after one other customer. Knowing the person that I am I would have asked for a Manager at Walgreens. Thank you.
