Walgreens Pharmacy

We've been going to this Elm Grove Walgreen's for over 21 years. There has never been a time where I wasn't taken care of professionally, courteously nor felt like I was ever a bother. Sometimes we end up going 2 to 3 times a week for multiple prescriptions for our entire family (including pets) or other needs. We know almost all the pharmacy workers on a first named basis ... and they always, I mean ALWAYS, are happy to see me. Some of the people we've grown to like and appreciate are Michelle and Cory (Pharmacists), Jen, Marlon, and so many others. It's kinda like the theme song from "Cheers" ... "Sometimes you wanna go, Where everybody knows your name ... And they're always glad you came..." because it's true!

With a very busy schedule, I desired to get the COVID booster shot quickly as some locations have a 2-week backlog. I saw this Walgreens location permitted walk-ins per the Walgreens website. I specifically go this evening and NO - an appointment is NEEDED! False information on the website. Plus the person behind the glass at pharmacy counter was snotty about it.

Both techs are great but they were low on meds for scripts and had to send some over. Very friendly and transparent. They were working hard for sure. Both Jennifer and the gentleman with glasses were friendly and helpful.

Horrible customer service. They don't acknowledge you and when you say something, you get attitude and told"we know your there". It would be nice to have someone at least say, I'll be right with you". Go somewhere else, not worth it!

Extremely sloooooowww. No drive thru. Can’t believe the wealthy suburbanites put up with this. Walked out. Go elsewhere
