One Star – Unacceptable Pharmacy Service I’m extremely disappointed with the Walgreens on the corner of 41st and 97th. My wife went to pick up our child’s Adderall prescription, only to be told the pharmacy had lost it. After work, I called to try to resolve the issue and was placed on hold for over 40 minutes. During that time, the phone was picked up multiple times, and I could hear staff talking in the background before they hung up and place me back on hold without saying a word. Out of frustration, I drove to the store — while still on hold — and when I arrived, there was no line at the pharmacy counter. Worst pharmacy - excessive wait times and didn’t have medication after such a long wait. Most of us are in and out customers. There was one customer that was lost and the staff were patient with him and helped him.

Today around 9:20pm, I went to the Walgreens pharmacy located at 41st Avenue and 97th Street in Doral, FL, to pick up a prescription, and the experience was very disappointing. The usual employees who assist customers were not there—only two people were working, one wearing a white coat that I assumed was the pharmaceutical and the other, an older man with dark skin, who provided terrible service. This employee did not greet customers, avoided eye contact, and spoke from a distance instead of addressing people properly. When I asked for my prescription, he bluntly told me there was nothing for me. When I asked if he could order it, he told me that my insurance company did not authorize it. Sadly, the young lady present at the pharmacy on 3-12-24, before midnight, just had no interest in helping a customer. I pulled up and asked for help, explaining that I had an early flight in the morning, was not able to get to the Walgreens pharmacy closest to me house before they closed, and needed my prescription refilled. At first she said that she could only take the order for pick up the next day. When I said I had to be at the airport at 6, she began looking for every excuse to not provide the service- 1. Said I didn't have a valid prescription. When I showed the email saying the prescription was ready for pick up, she looked for another excuse 2. Said insurance wouldn't pay. When I said fine, I'll take the others, she made a point to say that i could get them filled on my trip. 3.
