Walgreens Pharmacy

The pharmacist, Akosua Spigner, seems like she's looking for any excuse to not help or fill prescriptions and is very rude as other reviews seem to point out as well. I have never had such a difficult or disrespectful interaction with a pharmacist. I still have no clear explanation as to why she refuses to fill my prescription other than pettiness and spite. Or she has an anti-LGBTQ bias and that is why she is refusing me service, as a trans person. Either one is unprofessional and child-like. I dropped off a prescription on 8/25 and when I got home, I got a call from Spigner saying she couldn't read the date on the prescription. I just saw the date written when I dropped it off. Absolutely awful. It's a problem trying to pick up my prescription every time. The head pharmacist in charge treats me like a drug dealer every single time and is so rude and condescending. Try Walgreens in Carlstadt. They are MUCH friendlier.

Walgreens has been my "go to" pharmacy for years. Never have a problem with getting my prescriptions filled on time. Also, always find great bargains while I am there!

I pulled up to the drive through to drop off my prescription and pick up medicine the pharmacist or whoever was handling the drive through was very very rude and disrespectful practically yelling at me if I was picking up or dropping off multiple times even though I told her I had a prescription with me to drop off. Pharmacy stopped automatically applying manufacturers coupons/discount cards to my refills, and every time I came in I had to ask to have the coupon applied. The team there was very slow/confused almost always. Not sure if their training is adequate or if the volume is too high. There was always an issue which would waste a lot of my time. I switched to another pharmacy that applies my same coupons automatically when I refill a prescription and the pickup process is smooth. I'm in and out in a minute or two. It's too bad they changed this workflow when others have no problem at all doing it the "normal" way. I will however miss their drive-through, that was super convenient.
