Walgreens Pharmacy

I’ve never had a bad experience here but just had the WORST one! I was in the drive thru line and I got my medications and didn’t see my card. I pressed the service button and the women (maybe 20s-30s African American women with long curly hair and glasses) straight up ignored me. After about 4 minutes I found she put my card in my medication bag. I also saw that I was missing a prescription. I pressed the service button again and she said “your card is in the bag”. That’s how I knew she heard me asking for my card prior. I asked “I was supposed to get 3 prescriptions and I only got 2”. She replied “oh yeah, that one won’t be done until tomorrow “ I asked “what time” and she huffed and puffed and said “8am” (mind you my texts said they were all done and I called to confirm!) why didn’t she

I will make this short and to the point. This pharmacy has good prices on rx's but it is NOT worth it when you cannot reach anyone on the phone and if by some miracle you do, you are met with rude and confrontational tones immediately. I moved my rx's from this pharmacy to another one locally and no regrets. You will NOT be able to reach anyone on the phone here if you need help and the pharmacy staff for the most part have zero skills in customer service. They have a couple people who are very nice, but unfortunately the pharmacist is not and most of the employees are not either. It is just not an ideal pharmacy when you may need to reach them via phone for medication questions or concerns and you cannot. My boyfriend was refused insulin needles for our diabetic dog because the ladies in the pharmacy incorrectly judged him to be a drug user. Worse yet, they lied about their reasoning, claiming that he needed a prescription to purchase insulin needles. When my boyfriend googled this and presented them with the search result they changed their reason, now saying that they didn't feel comfortable selling needles after dark. It gets dark at 5:30 pm in winter....... EVEN IF HE WAS A DRUG USER, WHY REFUSE HIM CLEAN NEEDLES?!?! They don't care about people here. Or pets.

‼️ Heads up for people using Walgreens pharmacy ‼️: Call ahead different pharmacies for pricing! We just found out that we can get a special medication muuuch cheaper at Publix pharmacy than at Walgreens! Price was 6x higher at Walgreens !!!! They have lost my business for sure and their customer service is terrible (constantly hanging up on you while transferring you). I am so mad !

Great pharmacy and your typical Walgreens. Staff is typically very friendly, but this store is very very busy a lot of the time. If I can get thru the pharmacy drive thru with less than 3 cars in front of me, I consider that a win.
