Walgreens Pharmacy

Worst customer service. They put me on hold for literally more than 20 minutes and when I called back atleast 4 times after. They put me on hold again and again. They wouldn’t even let me talk and they would just say(can you hold) and bam they put you on hold u didn’t even have time to say anything back. They had an hour till they closed. Get better or don’t even stay open if you can’t handle simple business hours. I’m writing this at 8:20pm and they close at 9pm by the way. Pathetic.

They are always chatting with co workers when I'm waiting standing there inside to pick up! Kind of odd it's happened 3 times

I was waiting almost 20 min for my prescription when there were two people in front of me. When one customer left the worker looked at me and the line that had formed and left and just stood at the window where there was no one and went on her phone. When I did finally get to the front the lady helping me found my medication and set it down and then started helping the person behind me. Not because she needed approval or anything because she came back right after and finished checking me out. The whole time they were mixing up medications and dropping boxes full of them all over the ground. This happened several times it felt like no one knew what they were doing except the pharmacist. It's a chain pharmacy so temper your expectations. That being said this pharmacy operates effectively despite being the only 24-hour pharmacy in the Chico area. They can get VERY busy at peak hours but the technicians and pharmacist are very helpful and knowledgeable and experienced. Most issues that I notice people having with pharmacies involve their insurance or lack of it or poor communication with their doctors about their medications. Don't be passive about your health care. Demand the best be informed and be healthy!

The pharmacist who helped me was very nice, had a nice sense of humor, and got my prescription filled quickly! So grateful there’s a 24 hour pharmacy, I had to go to the ER and am happy that I could get my prescription filled right away so that I could go home straight after with my prescriptions to take when I got home.
