Walgreens Pharmacy

Nice staff and all but they’re completely understaffed and overworked. It’s kind of a mess. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but they continually revert to old insurance (despite them manually deleting them) and I end up having to deal with that headache. Transferred to CVS in Mendham.

First time picking up a prescription, they gave me mine and someone else’s. When I noticed the other one wasn’t mine, I went back to pick up my sons prescription (I received a calling stating it was ready a day before picking it up), my son was very sick and needed the antibiotic. I came in they said they had to fill it but to come back after lunch after 2. I came back at 4. Surprise surprise. The prescription wasn’t ready and I had to wait an extra 15 mins. RIDICULOUS. Also when I handed the lady the prescription that wasn’t mine she kept asking me how I got it at least 3 times, almost like she was insinuating that someone sold it to me? Wouldn’t recommend. They never have prescriptions ready.

VERY RARELY DO I HAVE BAD EXPERIENCES WITH PHARMACIES SO WORTHY TO WRITE A REVIEW. HOWEVER, THERES A FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING. What should have been a regular pickup of RX (which 2 days prior I was advised it was READY for pickup) tuned into waiting an hour and half wait. During which I was told not only were they not ready, but also not filled. One of the RX I've regularly taken (filled by a different pharmacy for several months with no problem) I was told MY INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER, and my option is to pay for it in full. Shortly after, I'm asked for the other pharmacies number to converse with him concerning this. Ultimately I'm told the pharmacist coukd not get through. I then call and yes got through. After this I'm asked "What do I want them to do". Smh. They then contact the Ins

Can't thank them enough!! Went there with my 18 month old little girl. Unfortunately had an ear infection and has not been feeling well. Had to go to urgent care which took a long time as primary was closed on weekends. Went to Walgreens to pick up her meds and pharmacist was on lunch break. Ariana the pharmacist left her break just to put the medication together for us! I can't thank them enough. The awesome women at the front saw the predicament I was in with a very sad sick baby and didn't hesitate to go into the back and ask for us. Wonderful team there!

In regard to the pharmacy: when our insurance changed from CVS to Walgreens, I was initially disappointed. However, after dealing with this pharmacy for several months, I hope it never changes back! Everyone I have dealt with at the pharmacy has been incredibly efficient always with great customer service. They seem to be well staffed and waste no time getting customers in and out. I love that they keep my credit card online for even quicker checkout. They also have never been out of anything which seemed to happen often at CVS. I also don’t miss those annoying CVS automated messages! Thank you Walgreens! PS: also great location to hit Chester Bagel and the Meat Market all in one trip!
