Walgreens Pharmacy

Walgreens in Virginia and Maryland are the worst pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Half the time Walgreens has to send out to their distribution center for their medication because they say that's better policy for the customer. That's stupid. The best thing for the customer is that you have the medication at your store ready to fill. I wait here in line longer to get my medication then I would to get a good steak dinner. Walgreens you are awful and I cannot wait to find someplace else to get my medication filled.

Went 24 hrs after a script was sent from emergency room and they still didn't have it. They do only have 1 person working entire pharmacy inside and drive thru. I had to wait a long time for pain medicine for a broken foot. Do not use if you're in emergency condition.

Turned in a prescription for an antibiotic at 5pm, the rude lady said "it'll be 45 min and just so you know we close at 6". I said i know.. go back at 545 just for them to say they dont have it, won't give my prescription back or send to the pharmacy a couple miles down the road that DOES have it. This is probably the first terrible (and prob illegal) experience ive had here but it is surely enough to go somewhere else from now on.

You would have to try really really hard to find a worse pharmacy than this. I have never in the 50 times I’ve been here had a smooth experience. Nothing is ever ready when it’s supposed to, the customer service is terrible and they take forever. Switched everything over to Publix down the street.

I have had numerous occasions to have long conversations with the pharmacy staff regarding my meds due to being a new patient with multiple specialists following a hospitalization in January 2023 and an ER visit again in May. Everyone has been as available and accommodating to my needs as they could possibly be, all the while remaining patient, kind, professional, and never making me feel troublesome or a burden. For this elderly, handicapped person, this professionalism is so very appreciated because I cannot always be the most compliant to others schedules and often encounter a dismissive attitude in other businesses. I am happy to say the services received from the pharmacy carry over to the rest of the employees at this location and I will continue to be pleased to shop there! Kudo
